Parking & Access

The carpark at Eventfinda Stadium is privately managed and owned by the Trust that owns Eventfinda Stadium. Contrary to popular belief, the carpark is not under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Council. Eventfinda Stadium is overseen by a Charitable Trust, independent of the Council, with a specific focus on benefiting the sporting communities that utilize our premises, including archery, gymnastics, basketball, and bowls.

It’s important to note that the carpark itself is a privately owned entity managed by Eventfinda Stadium.

Parking at Eventfinda Stadium

The Eventfinda Stadium carpark is privately owned and managed by the North Shore Events Centre Trust, a charitable trust that is independent of Auckland Council. Income from the carpark goes back into supporting the sporting communities who use the stadium.

How to pay

Scan the QR code on the signs in the carpark, or pay in the ParkAt app.

Just enter your number plate at the start of your stay. There's no ticket to display.

Enforcement

The carpark uses licence plate recognition and is monitored by EnforceIQ. If you park between 5:00am and 3:00pm without valid payment, a $70 breach fee will be issued for each infringement.

Where to park

We have around 800 onsite parks, accessed from:

  • Silverfield (North Entry)
  • Argus Place (West Entry)

Mobility parking

There are 10 mobility parks next to the main stadium entrance off Argus Place, and a further 6 at the Silverfield entrance via Gate B. A valid mobility permit must be displayed.

Hosting an event?

Parking for major events is free, and you can talk to your Event Coordinator about parking arrangements for your event. Please share this parking information with your attendees so everyone knows what to expect.

Contractors and local businesses

All contractors and workers must sign in at reception.

The carpark is not for local business or staff parking. Standard rates and enforcement apply to all vehicles.

Terms and Conditions of Parking

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the car park at Eventfinda Stadium ("Car Park"). By entering or parking in the Car Park, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Car Park.

1. Use of the Car Park

  1. 1.1 The Car Park is owned and operated by the North Shore Events Centre Trust ("Owner").
  2. 1.2 The Car Park may only be used for parking vehicles, for lawful purposes and in line with all applicable laws.
  3. 1.3 Parking is first come, first served, and availability is not guaranteed.
  4. 1.4 You must follow all posted signs, rules and directions from Car Park staff.

2. Paid Parking and Fees

  1. 2.1 Paid parking applies between 5:00am and 3:00pm daily, at the rates displayed on site and on our website.
  2. 2.2 Parking is free between 3:00pm and 5:00am, and during major events when paid parking has been switched off.
  3. 2.3 The first 10 minutes of any stay are free.
  4. 2.4 Payment must be made through the ParkAt QR code or app, using your vehicle's correct registration number.
  5. 2.5 The Owner may change rates and hours at any time by updating the signs on site.

3. Monitoring and Enforcement

  1. 3.1 The Car Park uses licence plate recognition cameras. By entering, you consent to your vehicle's registration and entry and exit times being recorded for parking management and enforcement purposes, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
  2. 3.2 Enforcement is carried out by EnforceIQ on behalf of the Owner.
  3. 3.3 If you park during paid hours without valid payment, or otherwise breach this Agreement, a breach fee of $70 will be issued for each infringement.
  4. 3.4 Vehicles that are abandoned, dangerously parked or causing an obstruction may be towed at the owner's expense.

4. Vehicle Parking

  1. 4.1 Park one vehicle per marked space, within the lines.
  2. 4.2 Do not obstruct other vehicles, accessways or the flow of traffic.
  3. 4.3 Mobility parks are only for vehicles displaying a valid mobility permit.

5. Your Vehicle, Your Risk

  1. 5.1 You park at your own risk. The Owner is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or their contents.
  2. 5.2 In particular, you acknowledge that the Car Park:
    1. is next to a golf course, and vehicles may be struck by golf balls; and
    2. can be affected by flooding during heavy rain,
    and you accept the risk of any damage caused by these events.

6. Prohibited Activities

While in the Car Park, you must not:

  1. carry out any illegal or unauthorised activity;
  2. damage, deface or vandalise any property;
  3. smoke, vape, drink alcohol or use illegal substances;
  4. loiter, litter or create a nuisance;
  5. carry out commercial activity, including soliciting or advertising, without prior written consent; or
  6. interfere with the operation of the Car Park or other users' enjoyment of it.

7. Liability and Indemnity

  1. 7.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Owner is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from your use of the Car Park.
  2. 7.2 You agree to indemnify the Owner against any claims, losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Car Park or any breach of this Agreement.

8. Changes and Access

  1. 8.1 The Owner may change this Agreement, or the availability of the Car Park, at any time.
  2. 8.2 The Owner may refuse access to the Car Park at its discretion.

By using the Car Park, you confirm you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
