Entering our Venue

Our schedule and availability changes regularly as we work around bookings, events and basketball games. However, as a guide please refer to the below:
We are currently open Monday to Friday from 12:00pm until late when evening basketball games finish and open on the weekends as required/booked for events.
Our 4 courts are available to book for casual court use from 12:00pm to 3:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly.  You can book this via our Book a Basket page here
North Harbour Basketball hosted games begin from approximately 3:00pm Monday to Friday and continue into the night.

Keep an eye on our website and facebook page for all other upcoming events at the stadium.

Under current traffic light settings and requirements. We no longer require vaccine passes for entry (as of 11:59pm 4th April).

Our main entry is at the North side of the stadium facing our carpark. This entry is used most regularly. However, entry points into the venue can vary from event to event as we may have to alter the layout for ease of access and or to keep crowds separated.
Please enter via our main north facing foyer unless otherwise signed.

Our carpark is part of Eventfinda Stadium. However, in relation to operating within the Covid19 Protection Framework, the carpark is separate to our indoor spaces. Entry to our indoor spaces is at the building itself.

We have a large carpark at our venue providing parking at the east, north and west areas of the building.
You can access the carpark via Argus Place and Silverfield.
Eventfinda Stadium members can park in our carpark at any time.

Playing Sports

Our venue can accommodate a range of sports. Some of the most popular sports played at our venue include; basketball, netball, indoor football, badminton, and volleyball.
Our basketball and badminton courts are laid permanently, all other court lines are laid on request.

You can get in touch with our Sales and Marketing Manager for any venue booking and venue enquiries via our hire enquiry page on the website here

This depends on capacity restrictions and how many players there are.
In the red setting, capacity is restricted to 200 pax (latest limit) in each ‘defined space’. Spectators will need to be included in this 200 person limit as we do not have a separate viewing area that will meet government guidelines as a separate space.
During Harbour Basketball evening games, spectators are welcome. Everyone will need to follow directional signage at the entrance.

You do not need to wear a mask when you are physically participating in sporting activities in the venue. You must however where your mask when not playing (eg. entering or leaving the venue, going to the bathroom, waiting to play) during the red setting. In orange and green, masks are encouraged but not compulsory.

Eventfinda Stadium supplies fixed sporting equipment for netball, volleyball, badminton, basketball. Fixed refers to equipment that is left in place for the duration of a game such as goals, hoops, poles, nets, umpire stands, score pads, scoreboards, tables and chairs.
We do not supply balls, rackets, whistles or any personal use equipment (eg. towels, uniforms). Mouthguards are available for sale at our reception desk.

No they are all considered staff and therefore not included in the capacity restrictions.

They certainly can.
How will depend on the traffic light setting as well as desired outcomes of each client and event.

Each event is designed and managed individually and therefore will not all be or look the same.

Our Sales and Marketing Manager is here to assist you with the booking process and to guide you as to what may be achievable with our venue and spaces.

Once you have booked and have signed a venue hire agreement, you will deal directly with our Event & Delivery Coordinator with all aspects of the planning and logistics. They’ll help you to design an event that maximises the venue potential, meets all government guidelines and provides your guests with a memorable experience.

Again, this is dependent on what the event requirements are.

Our venue has multiple levels, entrances, exits and amenities allowing you to separate groups easily to allow for socially distancing whilst maximising venue spaces available.

Our Event and Delivery Coordinator will work with you planning your event to meet any capacity restrictions in place.

Staff are not included in capacity restrictions. Who is considered staff will be based on the government released guidelines at the time of your event.

No, vaccine passes are no longer required as of 11:59pm 4th April 2022

Majority of events hosted in our venue make use of our main entry located on the northern side of our venue. This is the most prominant and easily accessible entrance.

However, depending on the event layout and desired outcomes, we may need to utilise multiple entrances and or exits. Communications regarding venue entry is generally sent out with your ticket prior to the event. However, we recommend following all directional signage at the venue when you arrive.

Yes, the New Zealand government provides guidance on what they feel is most appropriate and Eventfinda Stadium operates in line with all current laws and guidelines.

Vaccination Center

Yes, there is a vaccination center operating in the eastern end of our carpark via the Silverfield entry. The duration of this operation is unknown.
You can still access our building and other areas of the carpark via both the Argus Place and Silverfield entries.

You absolutely can. Traffic can still flow to the building and other areas of the carpark via the Silverfield entrance. You can also enter our carpark via Argus Place at the western end.

This is unknown. We will continue to support the Auckland District Health Board with access to and use of our carpark for as long as they require. We understand the importance of providing vaccination locations across all of New Zealand and will continue to allow this service to be provided at a key location on the North Shore.

Booking and Hire Enquiries
